ONION SOUP WITH PRESIDENT KASHAR

MATERIALS

1 Package of President Kashar Cheese (250g)
2 tablespoon of butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 large onion long sliced thinly into half moons (chopped diced)
3 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
1 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of flour
5 cups of broth or vegetable broth
1 teaspoon of mustard
1 teaspoon of vinegar
salt and pepper



ON TOP:

4 slices of toasted bread
1 package of President Kashar Cheese (250 g) - Shredded

PREPARATION

Heat the butter and olive oil in a saucepan and add the onion. Sauté them until golden. Add the flour, fry for about 5 minutes until it stick to the pan. Add the vegetable or beef broth. Add mustard, vinegar, salt and pepper. Boil for about 10 minutes over medium heat.

Toast the breads on both sides in a dry pan until they are golden.

Put the broths in an oven safe clay pot and place a slice of toast on top. Add the grated President Kashar Cheese on the toasted slice. Turn on the top broiler of your oven only and cook at 180 degrees until its top is golden brown.
