1 package of President Kashar Cheese (500 g)
1 pack of 500 g (25 pieces) ready baklava (phyllo) dough
2 glass of milk
200 g butter
Fresh basil chopped (to your liking). If you want a different flavor in your pastry, you can also add 100 g cream into it while preparing its sauce.
First, cut 12 or 13 baklava (phyllo) doughs into two.
Grate President Kashar Cheese. Place the milk and butter in a bowl and heat it until the butter melts. Mix well with whisk.
Grease an aluminum baking tray measuring 30x40 cm (according to the size of baklava dough) with butter.
To prepare the first 13 pieces of baklava doughs that you cut into two, place them on the tray by applying milk sauce with a brush in between them. Lay grated President Kashar Cheese on top. Continue to put the doughs by following the same procedure. Do not apply the sauce after putting the last dough on top. With a very sharp and preferably saw edge knife, cut only the top doughs of the pastry (without going deep to mid level).
Bake in 175° preheated oven until you achieve a golden color. After cooling it for a short time, cut the pastry from the places you have already marked and serve.
You can experience a different taste experience by chopping basil or fresh tarragon in addition to President Kashar Cheese to the filling of your pastry.
