1 package of President Gouda (220 g)
6 medium sized potatoes
300 g broccoli
FOR BECHAMEL SAUCE
75 g butter
75 g flour (approximately one teacupful)
2 glass of milk
100 g shredded President Gouda
100 g cream
salt and black pepper
Wrap the potatoes in foil and bake them in a 180 degree oven for 1 hour. Cut the top of the potatoes approximately 1 cm with a knife and scoop the potato flesh out.
Shred the broccoli and put them in boiling water for 2 minutes and then chill them by putting them back into ice water.
Roast the flour with butter to prepare the bechamel sauce. Add the milk into it and mix continuously with whisk until it thickens. Add cream and grated President Gouda Cheese. After adding salt and pepper, stir continuously for 2 minutes, then take it off the stove when it starts to simmer.
Fill the broccoli into the potatoes and pour the béchamel sauce over them. Sprinkle some more grated President Gouda Cheese on top. Bake in 175 preheated oven until topping is golden brown.
You can present it with ketchup on the side.
